The DEL ORO PACIFIC operates the oldest and largest "G" scale modular layout in the United States. The size
of our layouts vary from a simple oval measuring 40' x 60' to a yard and main line covering 80' x 100' depending on the size of the
space we are allocated. Del Oro showcases detailed trains and a variety of expertly crafted scenery. Our layouts have been
displayed at the California State Railroad Museum, Knott's Berry Farm, the National Garden Railroad Convention and train shows
throughout southern California and San Diego.
Our membership includes men and women ranging in age from 16 to 92 who come from all walks of life, and professions, each having the
common bond of the love of model railroading. Our meetings are shows and events we are invited to averaging 5-6 events annually.
